What’s unique is Sennheiser uses a concept called Front Venting to allow you to adjust the signature of the IE 200. If that sounds a bit complicated, it’s very simple:

All you have to do is take the tips, pull it in front a little bit and what that does is that it creates a vent for the IEM and rolls off the bass essentially.

So if you’re someone who wants even more neutrality of the IE 200, you have that option. Just take the tips slightly out and there you go- the bass has been knocked out.
