In the Box
So after having this pair for about a year now there are some issues I have noticed. Issues: -at first battery life may be close to the marketed 6 hours but after some use its really more like 4-5 hours. - Sound quality I have mixed feelings about, don't necessarily dislike it but also don't really like it. I see myself using other headphones/earphones in the place of these. (audio signature is v shape) -Connectivity is just awful. can't go more than 15-20 ft without the signal starting to cut in and out. There are even issues when just wearing them casually and my phone is in my pocket when I notice it cut in and out. It seems like if you block/ cover (even slightly) the receiver it looses connection. usually have to keep my phone on the side of receiver to help mitigate the problem. -over a long duration of time after about 2 hours, it become very uncomfortable to wear especially while walking since the headphones tend to pop out. The Good: - Build quality is superb, really nice thick wire connecting the two earpieces together. Earpieces are very solid material and look nice. - The earpiece profile isn't to big so it doesn't stand out to much. Conclusion: I wouldn't recommend these earphones to anyone I know for the price they're at. at most these feel like a 120-80$ pair of earphones. There are to many issues for the price it's at, especially with connectivity. I gave these a good run but everyday I see myself using these less and less due to the issues I've been having and the fact that i'm on the fence about audio quality.
Great in ear ear pods. Very accurate sounding. Very comfortable.I have several other bluetooth headphones. These are by far the easiest to connect and best sounding of all. They fit well in my ears and block out most external sound. Controls are easy to feel and use. I'm by no means a sound expert but even my untrained ears can detect a noticeable difference in sound quality over others I have tried. The cables are a bit long and the controls have a counter weight. This might not be the best pair to exercise with given the long cables.
I am a earbud / headphone fanatic. I've always been a fan of Sennheiser sound, and I've owned many many headphones from them. I've never been terribly impressed with their earbuds. And when I first started listening to these I was okay with him but the base was thin. But I realized it was because I couldn't get the right fit with the earpieces. I have custom molds made for my ears that I use with my Westone UM2 earbuds. These are expensive dual driver earphones. In a moment of inspiration I took the West tones out of the mold and pushed the HD Sennheisers into the custom ear molds. With the completely sealed fit they are the best sounding audio device I've ever heard, detail like my Grado headphones. Complete bass, not thumpy but with tonality. You get the bass feel, but you can actually hear the note that's being played. I realize not everyone will run out to the audiologist and have molds made, but if you've ever thought about it these are the headphones to put in molds.
Good quality sound.Volume not so high if you like listening loud music, but acceptable. Sometimes bothers the balance of both ebds, since it is note the samo for both earbuds!
Poor battery life compared to what it said I typically only get around 3 and a half out of it but still a quite solid product
